RISC is good
My first laptop was an Apple Mac iBook G3, the IceBook and I ran Yellow Dog Linux on it.
it was glorious, I still have that laptop.
500mhz PPC
8mb VRAM
64mb of RAM
10gb HDD
My raspberry Pi's are faster now, but my workflow has not changed that much lol.
That iBook sold me on Apple Laptops, the build quality was higher than other laptops I had used.
Although I am also very fond of ThinkPads.
My preffered device currently is a Raspberry Pi
