Another one got caught today, it's all over X, Criminal Gang arrested in
ransomware attack!
I am a hacker, this is not my world.
While there was always a criminal element in the Hacking scene, there was also the curious, the seekers. They did not break into systems to damage them or for finacial gain. They did not crack software for profit but for access they were motivated by the Art of Exploitation. Even defacements, were often driven by recognition not specifically malicious intent.
